We are delighted to welcome Merritt Crawford of Souvenir Stitches and Sew Just BeeCuzz to Hidden Falls Farm Retreat! Merritt is a talented pattern designer and teacher with over 40 years of needlework experience, spanning cross stitch, quilting, crochet, and wool appliqué. She is especially well known for her artistry in cross stitch finishing.

Merritt began her creative journey in her tween years with cross stitch and crochet, later adding sewing and quilting after college. Inspired by the women in her life who turned everyday tasks into works of art, she has carried forward that creative heritage with a deep love for needle and thread.

Under her brand Souvenir Stitches, Merritt creates timeless cross stitch patterns featuring antique-inspired silhouettes that feel like stepping back in time. Her second brand, Sew…Just BeeCuzz, showcases her whimsical side with wool appliqué and unique quilting patterns, including her signature use of the classic “yo-yo” technique.

A gifted and patient instructor, Merritt especially enjoys teaching small projects that can be completed in a day—no UFOs here! In 2020, she launched her YouTube channel, The Just BeeCuzz Buzz, where she shares her journey through cross stitch, quilting, wool appliqué, thrifting, and other needle arts.

Merritt lives in Kentucky on beautiful Lake Cumberland with her husband, Scott. Together, they enjoy life with their two daughters, one son-in-love, and two beloved feline rescues.
